Case Study: Project 1735
Industry: Security & Property Maintenance

Project 1735 is a 38 van fitout with two different specifications. These van conversions were for a client that works in the security and property maintenance sectors and with this DuraSto solution their engineers have all they need to carry out their work on site. These fitouts have been tailored to our customers specific requirements which include both standard furniture along with bespoke products unique to us at DuraSto. Bespoke Sheet Material Rack
These racks are a bespoke product, designed and manufactured by DuraSto. Our customer needed a solution for transporting sheet materials as well as support for cutting these material onsite.

Racking
The racking on this project was an Edström system and was split over two different designs. This shelving offered a large amount of storage along with bins for small parts etc…

Electrics
The electrical requirements on this van included inverters to power sockets along with interior lights, work lights, amber strobe lights, beacons, run locks and trackers. Along with this one of the specs needed 110v power

110v Supply
The 110v power supply involve installing a transformer that then connected to a retractable cable reel at the rear of the van. This allowed for the operator to have maximum flexibility when using this supply.

Bespoke Ladder Rack
The customer required storage for a large ladder but didn’t want the added height of a roof rack. Due to the size of the ladders there was no off the shelf solution. DuraSto designed these steel hooks and had them fabricated.
Case Study: Project 1711
Industry: Heavy Plant Manufacturer

Project 1711 was van conversions for a large plant machinery manufacturer. With the MAN TGE 3.180 4×4 as the foundation these vans needed to provide the engineers with a full mobile workstation. This DuraSto solution provided ample storage, a work area and numerous electrical additions.

Workbench
This workbench area along with drawer storage give a great space to carry out onsight servicing or repair. Theres also a double socket for any power requirements.

Lockable Cupboard
A lockable cupboard was a great addition for larger parts and also meant that the engineers can lock it for safety.

Blindspot Camera
Blindspot cameras were just a part of the electrical fitout which also included inverters to power sockets along with interior lights, work lights, beacons, and a leisure battery.

Handwash Unit
This unit was also part of the electrical install and provides the engineers with both hot and cold water for handwashing onsite.
